The goal of Patrioticmind.com is to stimulate and encourage discussion on a variety of issues facing us as a nation.  As a direct result of these discussions it is hoped that visitors will become more involved in those issues which concern them through participation in the democratic process.   If you do not agree with the direction of our country, the time has come for you as an individual to stand up and be heard!

PatrioticMind.com was designed from the beginning as a place where anyone could come and share their views on current events.  It doesn’t matter if you are a Republican or Democrat, liberal or conservative.  What does matter is that you have a love for our country and a desire to join the debate.  You’ll find that blogging is easy and fun!  Find a news story or video on the web that you want to talk about?  You can link to the story or embed the video right into your post!  Others viewing your post can then comment on it and even debate the ideas discussed with the author or other readers.  All content is available free here on the website, through your RSS reader or even via Twitter!

Once you join, you become a contributor.  Your posts are held for review by an editor before being published live on the website.  Posts are reviewed and approved throughout the day.  Once you have built a reputation with the editors, you may be upgraded for automatic approval.  You’ll find it is a very simple process to get your posts onto the website.  Try out a test post to experiment and learn the ropes.  Don’t worry, we won’t tell anyone.

You are free to create your own original commentary or even a “mash-up”, combining quotes from different sources you find on the web which relate to the topic your writing about.  Just provide links back to the original stories so they receive credit for their hard work and readers can view the sources you quote in their entirety. A few quotes from CNN, FoxNews, other blogs, maybe a YouTube video clip combined with your own opinions and you have a “mash-up”.
