MSNBC has hit bottom and begun to dig. This comes in response to a statement made by Mike Kilburn, county commissioner of Warren County, Ohio. Kilburn rejected 373,000 in stimulus money from the Obama administration. He said, “I’ll let Warren County go broke before taking any of Obama’s filthy money. As Reagan said, government is not the answer. It’s the problem.”
Well that was just too much for Keith Olbermann to take. The very idea that the government is not the answer to everyone’s problems sent him off the deep end. His response was, “Commissioner Kilburn, Reagan is dead and he was a lousy President.”
President Reagan is, in my humble opinion, the greatest President to serve our nation in the modern era. His speeches were inspirational and not delivered with the aid of 12 teleprompters. More to the point, he did his best to accomplish what he set out to do. Shrink the size of the federal government.
