At the Miss USA Pageant, a celebrity blogger turned judge asked a question of Miss California, then proceeded to have a total breakdown over the answer. The judge, Perez Hilton, asked Carrie Prejean her opinion on gay marriage. She polity answered she felt that marriage was between a man and a woman. She said in an interview with FoxNews that she felt that ”By having to answer that question in front of a national audience, God was testing my character and faith. I’m glad I stayed true to myself”. Judge Perez Hilton, obviously sore over losing the recent prop 8 battle in California, headed to his blog to post the following rant.
I for one congratulate Carrie Prejean in sticking to her beliefs. The lady has real class. She may have lost the pageant, but she gained the respect of many all over our nation, which, in the end, is infinitely more important.
